Dr. C.H.Patil is Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Economics. He completed his Masters’ degree in Arts (M.A) in Economics from Karnatak University. He obtained his Ph.D from Hampi University and has a teaching experience of 26 years and has completed four Refresher courses and two orientation programmes. He participated as a Resource person in four National Seminars, presented fifteen papers in National Seminars and ten papers in State Level Seminars. His three papers are published in ISBN journals. He attended in various National as well as State Level Workshops and Symposium. Apart from these academic involvements he is the life member of Karnataka Vidyavardhak Sangh, Dharwad, member of NSS Advisory Committee of Karnatak University Dharwad and member of Life Insurance Corporation Recruitment Committee, Dharwad. He worked as Dharwad district NSS Nodal Officer , coordinator in Central Valuation at Karnatak University, Dharwad and has been NSS officer for six years. He is Founder and Director of Swamijika Shikshana & Krishi Abhivridhi samsthe, Itigatti(NGO).
